Performances: September 28th – October 6th, 2018

WTG is very happy to announce the cast for “The Boys”.

Auditions presented the director, Sophie Cuttriss, with an amazing group of talented and passionate people and she had some really difficult decisions to make.

The director along with WTG were so impressed by the level of talent in our region and very grateful to those who put themselves on the line for the audition.

Cast:

Sandra: Laura Muranty

Michelle: Megan Kenny

Jackie: Evy Nye

Nola: Chloe Papillon

Brett: Anthony Kennedy

Glenn: Nick Carver

Stevie: Still looking for a Stevie

A confronting play with strong adult themes (loosely based on some of the men who were involved with the brutal rape and murder of Anita Cobby in Sydney in 1986.)

Three brothers , their mother and girlfriends portray values and attitudes that are, sadly, still prevalent today. The themes of misogyny and violence against women challenge us to ask how do men become like this and what can we do to change them?
