Team Ray White joined Danier’s Drive from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 for a fun filled 4 day adventure, raising awareness and funds to help fight Motor Neurone Disease. The Ray White network were proudly represented by Kristien Formosa of Ray White Phillip Island, Michael Teague of Ray White Corporate, Rory Somerville of Ray White Bendigo and Mark Boyer of Ray White Nagambie.
Teams on DANIHER’S DRIVE 2016 headed off in their cars to bask in the warmth and brilliance of the picturesque high country villages in Victoria’s south eastern corner. The participants savoured local food and wine, captured the stunning scenery and got their hearts pumping in the fresh alpine air. Making the journey to the top of Mt Hotham and Dinner Plain the cavalcade visited Mansfield’s epic trails, blazed by yesteryears mountain cattlemen in the true spirit of the legendary Man From Snowy River. .
The following three days on the drive continued to showcase the very best regional Victoria has to offer – from Lakes Entrance – home to Australia’s largest network of waterways to Sale – a treasure trove of rich Australian history. Right along the Gippsland region, the natural beauty of the country provided the perfect back-drop to a drive. The Sunday saw all Drive Teams congregate at Phillip Island’s Football Netball Club in Cowes where locals came out to show their support for this amazing cause.
We commented on Facebook during the drive “great causes bring together great people”, according to Kristien this sums up the event perfectly. Kristien also commented that listening to Neale talk about his experiences brought out an array of emotion and being a part of such a fantastic cause was extremely humbling. The Event has left him with a huge respect for both Neale and the Daniher Family who joined Neale from far and wide to be a part of Danihers Drive, the experience is one Kristien looks forward to repeating again as an annual event
